Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2013 Phillips in New York held the auction Under the Influence, which included the work Dandy 1 by Slater Bradley. The price achieved of USD 4,750.00 (€ 3,706.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Slater Bradley have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ladies and Gentlemen We are Floating in Space (02) in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 32,500.00 (€ 26,285.99).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2013 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Under the Influence durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dandy 1 von Slater Bradley zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.750,00 (€ 3.706,30) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Slater Bradley auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ladies and Gentlemen We are Floating in Space (02) im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 32.500,00 (€ 26.285,99).
