Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2018 Phillips in an online auction held the auction Phillips x Artsy: Summer School 2018, which included the work Gold Ian 4 by Slater Bradley. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 3,125.00 (€ 2,669.57) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Slater Bradley have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ladies and Gentlemen We are Floating in Space (02) in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 32,500.00 (€ 26,285.99).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2018 führte Phillips in einer Online-Auktion die Auktion Phillips x Artsy: Summer School 2018 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Gold Ian 4 von Slater Bradley zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 3.125,00 (€ 2.669,57) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Slater Bradley auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ladies and Gentlemen We are Floating in Space (02) im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 32.500,00 (€ 26.285,99).
