Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Slater Bradley achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in March 2013. In the Under the Influence auction, the work Boulevard of Broken Dreams (Perine 02) sold for USD 18,750.00 (€ 14,630.15) - well above the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Slater Bradley; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Ladies and Gentlemen We are Floating in Space (02) sold at auction in May 2012 with the realized price of USD 32,500.00 (€ 26,285.99).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Slater Bradley erzielte im März 2013 bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Under the Influence wurde die Arbeit Boulevard of Broken Dreams (Perine 02) für USD 18.750,00 (€ 14.630,15) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Slater Bradley; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Ladies and Gentlemen We are Floating in Space (02) im Mai 2012 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 32.500,00 (€ 26.285,99).
