A top price for Slater Bradley - as previously expected
In May 2012 Phillips in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Ladies and Gentlemen We are Floating in Space (02) by Slater Bradley. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 32,500.00 (€ 26,285.99) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Ladies and Gentlemen We are Floating in Space (02) is the most expensive artwork by Slater Bradley that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Mai 2012 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ladies and Gentlemen We are Floating in Space (02) von Slater Bradley zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 32.500,00 (€ 26.285,99) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Ladies and Gentlemen We are Floating in Space (02) das teuerste Kunstwerk von Slater Bradley, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
