Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Slater Bradley could be acquired at Christies in New York in February 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the On Paper | Online auction, the work Coda VIII changed hands for USD 1,875.00 (€ 1,647.77) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Slater Bradley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ladies and Gentlemen We are Floating in Space (02) in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 32,500.00 (€ 26,285.99).
