Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work CODA X by Slater Bradley for USD 13,750.00 (€ 10,586.70). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Slater Bradley - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ladies and Gentlemen We are Floating in Space (02), which sold at auction in May 2012 for USD 32,500.00 (€ 26,285.99).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit CODA X von Slater Bradley für USD 13.750,00 (€ 10.586,70) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Slater Bradley mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ladies and Gentlemen We are Floating in Space (02) beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für USD 32.500,00 (€ 26.285,99) versteigert wurde.
