Auction result misses estimated price range
When this work without title by Rune Mields was auctioned at Grisebach in June 2019, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 1,625.00. Admittedly, works by Rune Mields have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work „BS 48a“ in June 2018 with an auction result of EUR 7,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Rune Mields im Juni 2019 bei Grisebach versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 1.625,00 den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rune Mields auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit „BS 48a“ im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 7.500,00.
