Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2021 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Prints & Multiples, which included the work Five Blocks Row by Ron Davis. The price achieved of USD 1,083.75 (€ 936.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ron Davis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in July 2013 with an auction result of USD 81,250.00 (€ 61,173.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2021 führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion Prints & Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit Five Blocks Row von Ron Davis zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.083,75 (€ 936,12) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ron Davis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juli 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 61.173,02).
