Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2011 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Day, which included the work Picnic Tables With Umbrella And Figures by Roland Petersen. The »bidding war« ended at USD 104,500.00 (€ 72,690.60), 16% above the upper estimate. Other works by Roland Petersen have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 132,000.00 (€ 98,119.38) in May 2007 for the work Girl with Flowers.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2011 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Day durch, in der auch die Arbeit Picnic Tables With Umbrella And Figures von Roland Petersen zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 104.500,00 (€ 72.690,60) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Roland Petersen haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 132.000,00 (€ 98.119,38) im Mai 2007 für die Arbeit Girl with Flowers beobachtet.
