This artwork by Roland Petersen achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Los Angeles in September 2021. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California auction, the work Untitled, 1969 sold for USD 35,312.50 (€ 30,502.29) - well above the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Roland Petersen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Girl with Flowers, which sold at auction in May 2007 for USD 132,000.00 (€ 98,119.38).

In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California wurde die Arbeit Untitled, 1969 für USD 35.312,50 (€ 30.502,29) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Roland Petersen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Girl with Flowers beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für USD 132.000,00 (€ 98.119,38) versteigert wurde.
