Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included this untitled work by Rogelio Polesello. It changed hands for a price of USD 37,500.00 (€ 33,635.30) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rogelio Polesello - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in May 2017 for USD 93,750.00 (€ 83,437.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2019 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Rogelio Polesello zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 33.635,30) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Rogelio Polesello mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Mai 2017 für USD 93.750,00 (€ 83.437,17) versteigert wurde.
