Sold at the upper estimate price
In February last year Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art Online, which included the work Señal/Ficción by Rogelio Polesello. The auction ended at the price of USD 15,000.00 (€ 13,364.22), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Rogelio Polesello have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 93,750.00 (€ 83,437.17).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Februar letzten Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Señal/Ficción von Rogelio Polesello zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 13.364,22) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rogelio Polesello auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 93.750,00 (€ 83.437,17).
