Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2019 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art Online, which included this untitled work by Rogelio Polesello. It changed hands for a price of USD 18,750.00 (€ 17,016.06) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Rogelio Polesello have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 93,750.00 (€ 83,437.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2019 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art Online durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Rogelio Polesello zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 17.016,06) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rogelio Polesello auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 93.750,00 (€ 83.437,17).
