Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Rogelio Polesello was auctioned at Christies in New York in March last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 40,320.00 (€ 36,347.25) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rogelio Polesello - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in May 2017 for USD 93,750.00 (€ 83,437.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Rogelio Polesello kam im März letzten Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 40.320,00 (€ 36.347,25) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Rogelio Polesello mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Mai 2017 für USD 93.750,00 (€ 83.437,17) versteigert wurde.
