Auction result misses estimated price range
In September last year a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Rogelio Polesello for USD 28,000.00 (€ 28,621.08). This price was achieved in the auction Latin American Art at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rogelio Polesello - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in May 2017 for USD 93,750.00 (€ 83,437.17).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Rogelio Polesello für USD 28.000,00 (€ 28.621,08) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Rogelio Polesello mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Mai 2017 für USD 93.750,00 (€ 83.437,17) versteigert wurde.
