Signed and numbered 55/70 in blue ink on the accompanying Parkett certificate (there were also 20 artist's proofs numbered in Roman numerals), published by Parkett Editions, New York and Zurich.

This artwork by Rodney Graham achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in July 2020. In the Editions & Works on Paper auction, the work Weather Vane sold for USD 2,750.00 (€ 2,335.65) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rodney Graham achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Inverted Drip Painting #47 in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 150,000.00 (€ 169,153.72).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 83 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Rodney Graham erzielte im Juli 2020 bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Editions & Works on Paper wurde die Arbeit Weather Vane für USD 2.750,00 (€ 2.335,65) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rodney Graham erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Inverted Drip Painting #47 im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 150.000,00 (€ 169.153,72).
