Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Robert Zakanitch could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in October 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Prints & Multiples auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 125.00 (€ 110.31) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 200.00 – 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Zakanitch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hot Top (Copa Series) in June 2015 with an auction result of USD 3,500.00 (€ 3,137.89).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Robert Zakanitch konnte im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Prints & Multiples wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 125,00 (€ 110,31) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 200,00 – 300,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Zakanitch erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hot Top (Copa Series) im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.500,00 (€ 3.137,89).
