In March this year Christies in London held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale, which included the work Untitled (9578) by Robert Marc. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 20,160.00 (€ 22,935.89), 68% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Robert Marc; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in November 2020 with the realized price of USD 44,062.50 (€ 36,878.56).

Im März diesen Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (9578) von Robert Marc zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 20.160,00 (€ 22.935,89) und damit 68% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Robert Marc; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2020 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 44.062,50 (€ 36.878,56).
