Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (9348) by Robert Marc was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art auction at Sothebys in New York in June 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 1,512.00 (€ 1,276.16) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Marc achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2020 with an auction result of USD 44,062.50 (€ 36,878.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (9348) von Robert Marc wurde im Juni 2021 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 1.512,00 (€ 1.276,16) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Marc erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 44.062,50 (€ 36.878,56).
