A top price for Robert Marc
When this work without title by Robert Marc was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in November 2020, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - USD 12,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than three times as high at USD 44,062.50 (€ 36,878.56). This high result makes the work without title the most expensive artwork by Robert Marc that we have observed at auctions so far.
