The result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 12,813.94) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Richard Stankiewicz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Playful Bathers in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 134,500.00 (€ 108,783.57).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Richard Stankiewicz wurde im Juli 2018 in der Auktion First Open Online: Post-War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 12.813,94) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Richard Stankiewicz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Playful Bathers im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 134.500,00 (€ 108.783,57).
