In May 2012 Christies in New York held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Morning Session, which included the work Playful Bathers by Richard Stankiewicz. Here, the upper estimate of USD 120,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 134,500.00 (€ 108,783.57).
