A top price for Richard Stankiewicz
In May 2012 Christies in New York held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Morning Session, which included the work Playful Bathers by Richard Stankiewicz. Here, the upper estimate of USD 120,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 134,500.00 (€ 108,783.57). With this result, Playful Bathers is even the most expensive work of art by Richard Stankiewicz that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Mai 2012 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Morning Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Playful Bathers von Richard Stankiewicz zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 120.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 134.500,00 (€ 108.783,57) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Playful Bathers sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Richard Stankiewicz, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
