Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Richard Stankiewicz was sold in the The Collection of Edward Albee auction at Sothebys in New York in September 2017. Here, the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,581.56). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Stankiewicz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Playful Bathers in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 134,500.00 (€ 108,783.57).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Richard Stankiewicz wurde im September 2017 in der Auktion The Collection of Edward Albee bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 12.500,00 (€ 10.581,56) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Richard Stankiewicz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Playful Bathers im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 134.500,00 (€ 108.783,57).
