Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2015 Phillips in New York held the auction Evening & Day Editions, which included the work Manhattan View, Battery Park by Richard Haas. The price achieved of USD 1,188.00 (€ 1,075.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Richard Haas - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Manhattan View, Battery Park; and Manhattan View, Battery Park, Night, which sold at auction in October 2014 for USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,394.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2015 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Evening & Day Editions durch, in der auch die Arbeit Manhattan View, Battery Park von Richard Haas zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.188,00 (€ 1.075,89) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Richard Haas mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Manhattan View, Battery Park; and Manhattan View, Battery Park, Night beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für USD 3.000,00 (€ 2.394,25) versteigert wurde.
