Auction result well in line with expectations
The work General Electric Building (Blue); Cities Service Building (Blue) (2 works) by Richard Haas was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in August this year. The price achieved of USD 1,088.00 (€ 1,003.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Richard Haas - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Manhattan View, Battery Park; and Manhattan View, Battery Park, Night, which sold at auction in October 2014 for USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,394.25).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.088,00 (€ 1.003,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden.
