both signed, titled, night dated `1980' and numbered 5/78 and 5/50 respectively in pencil (there were also 10 artist's proofs for both), published by Brooke Alexander, Inc., New York, framed.

A top price for Richard Haas - as previously expected
In October 2014 Phillips in New York held the auction Evening & Day Editions, which included the work Manhattan View, Battery Park; and Manhattan View, Battery Park, Night by Richard Haas. The result of USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,394.25) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Manhattan View, Battery Park; and Manhattan View, Battery Park, Night is the most expensive artwork by Richard Haas that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Oktober 2014 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Evening & Day Editions durch, in der auch die Arbeit Manhattan View, Battery Park; and Manhattan View, Battery Park, Night von Richard Haas zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 3.000,00 (€ 2.394,25) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00.
