Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Richard Bosman achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in November 2009. In the Modern and Contmporary Editions auction, the work Car Crash sold for USD 1,875.00 (€ 1,250.50) - well above the upper estimate of USD 900.00. Admittedly, works by Richard Bosman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Chase in July 2019 with an auction result of USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,738.54).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Richard Bosman erzielte im November 2009 bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contmporary Editions wurde die Arbeit Car Crash für USD 1.875,00 (€ 1.250,50) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 900,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Richard Bosman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Chase im Juli 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.738,54).
