Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Richard Bosman achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in April 2018. In the Editions & Works on Paper auction, the work High Tide/Low Tide sold for USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,070.56) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Richard Bosman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Chase, which sold at auction in July 2019 for USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,738.54).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Richard Bosman erzielte im April 2018 bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Editions & Works on Paper wurde die Arbeit High Tide/Low Tide für USD 2.500,00 (€ 2.070,56) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Richard Bosman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Chase beobachtet, die im Juli 2019 für USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.738,54) versteigert wurde.
