Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Man in the Moon by Randy Solon was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 35,000.00 – 55,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 3,587.49) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Randy Solon have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2011 the work Pray Or Prey was auctioned for HKD 81,250.00 (€ 7,060.93).
