Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2011 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings, which included the work When The Saints Go Marching In by Randy Solon. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 4,617.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Other works by Randy Solon have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2011 the work Pray Or Prey was auctioned for HKD 81,250.00 (€ 7,060.93).

Im Oktober 2011 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit When The Saints Go Marching In von Randy Solon zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 4.617,48) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Randy Solon konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2011 die Arbeit Pray Or Prey für HKD 81.250,00 (€ 7.060,93) versteigert.
