Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2013 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian, which included the work Amore De Equus (Love For Horses) by Randy Solon. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 52,500.00 (€ 4,981.98) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Randy Solon have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2011 the work Pray Or Prey was auctioned for HKD 81,250.00 (€ 7,060.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2013 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian durch, in der auch die Arbeit Amore De Equus (Love For Horses) von Randy Solon zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 52.500,00 (€ 4.981,98) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Randy Solon konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2011 die Arbeit Pray Or Prey für HKD 81.250,00 (€ 7.060,93) versteigert.
