The work Limelight by Ralph Humphrey was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2019. The result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 13,359.46) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ralph Humphrey achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A/60-61 in September 2017 with an auction result of USD 237,500.00 (€ 201,049.69).
