Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Station by Ralph Humphrey was auctioned at Christies in New York in December 2018. The price achieved of USD 23,750.00 (€ 20,731.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ralph Humphrey have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A/60-61 in September 2017 with an auction result of USD 237,500.00 (€ 201,049.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Station von Ralph Humphrey kam im Dezember 2018 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 23.750,00 (€ 20.731,49) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ralph Humphrey auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A/60-61 im September 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 237.500,00 (€ 201.049,69).
