It achieved a price of USD 15,000.00 (€ 14,201.86), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Admittedly, works by Paul Pfeiffer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Race Riot in November 2006 with an auction result of USD 144,000.00 (€ 108,589.10).

Die Arbeit Four Horsemen Of The Apocalypse (16) von Paul Pfeiffer kam im November 2015 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 14.201,86) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Pfeiffer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Race Riot im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 144.000,00 (€ 108.589,10).
