Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse (24). by Paul Pfeiffer was auctioned at Grisebach in December 2021. The price achieved of EUR 27,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 25,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul Pfeiffer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Race Riot, which sold at auction in November 2006 for USD 144,000.00 (€ 108,589.10).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 27.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 25.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Paul Pfeiffer mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Race Riot beobachtet, die im November 2006 für USD 144.000,00 (€ 108.589,10) versteigert wurde.
