Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Paul Pfeiffer achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in March 2020. In the Post-War to Present auction, the work Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse (6) sold for USD 20,000.00 (€ 18,134.01) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Paul Pfeiffer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Race Riot in November 2006 with an auction result of USD 144,000.00 (€ 108,589.10).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Paul Pfeiffer erzielte im März 2020 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War to Present wurde die Arbeit Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse (6) für USD 20.000,00 (€ 18.134,01) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Pfeiffer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Race Riot im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 144.000,00 (€ 108.589,10).
