Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Paul Pfeiffer could be acquired at Phillips in London in July 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now auction, the work Vertical Corridor changed hands for GBP 1,386.00 (€ 1,625.37) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Pfeiffer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Race Riot in November 2006 with an auction result of USD 144,000.00 (€ 108,589.10).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Paul Pfeiffer konnte im Juli 2021 bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion New Now wechselte die Arbeit Vertical Corridor für GBP 1.386,00 (€ 1.625,37) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Pfeiffer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Race Riot im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 144.000,00 (€ 108.589,10).
