Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Paul Noble could be acquired at Sothebys in London in October 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work Twenty Five And A Half Henry Moore Sculptures As Chinese Scholars Stone changed hands for GBP 34,850.00 (€ 44,421.25) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Other works by Paul Noble have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in October 2007 by the work Nobsend at GBP 60,000.00 (€ 86,163.95).

In der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction wechselte die Arbeit Twenty Five And A Half Henry Moore Sculptures As Chinese Scholars Stone für GBP 34.850,00 (€ 44.421,25) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00.
