Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2017 Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included the work A sun 4 sea 6 by Paul Noble. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,813.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Noble achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nobsend in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 60,000.00 (€ 86,163.95).
