Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Welcome To Nobson’S New Personalised Holiday Villas, Villa Jem, Rear View by Paul Noble. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,365.68) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Noble achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nobsend in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 60,000.00 (€ 86,163.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Welcome To Nobson’S New Personalised Holiday Villas, Villa Jem, Rear View von Paul Noble zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.365,68) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Noble erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nobsend im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 60.000,00 (€ 86.163,95).
