Auction result well in line with expectations
The work C.L.I.P.O.N by Paul Noble was auctioned at Phillips in London in December 2018. It changed hands for a price of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 9,748.28) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Admittedly, works by Paul Noble have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nobsend in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 60,000.00 (€ 86,163.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit C.L.I.P.O.N von Paul Noble kam im Dezember 2018 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 9.748,28) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Noble auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Nobsend im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 60.000,00 (€ 86.163,95).
