Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Day When Mariovaldo Took A Shower In The Rain by Os Gêmeos was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2016. Here, the upper estimate of USD 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 81,250.00 (€ 71,334.50). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Os Gêmeos - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Amigo, which sold at auction in November 2015 for USD 162,500.00 (€ 153,853.44).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Day When Mariovaldo Took A Shower In The Rain von Os Gêmeos kam im März 2016 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 81.250,00 (€ 71.334,50) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Os Gêmeos mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Amigo beobachtet, die im November 2015 für USD 162.500,00 (€ 153.853,44) versteigert wurde.
