Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Sketch For Larger More Realistic Painting) by Noah Davis was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Christies in New York in May 2021. The price achieved of USD 106,250.00 (€ 87,133.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Noah Davis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Congo #7 in November last year with an auction result of USD 1,500,000.00 (€ 1,453,065.97).
