This work without title by Noah Davis was worth USD 990,600.00 (€ 929,791.63) to a buyer in May this year. This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale at Phillips in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 150,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Noah Davis; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Congo #7 sold at auction in November last year with the realized price of USD 1,500,000.00 (€ 1,453,065.97).
