Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2020 Phillips in New York held the auction 20th c. & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session, which included the work 100 Years of Entertainment 1-5 by Noah Davis. The price achieved of USD 137,500.00 (€ 116,782.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Noah Davis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Congo #7 in November last year with an auction result of USD 1,500,000.00 (€ 1,453,065.97).
