Upper estimate price exceeded by 50 %.
In May 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included this untitled work by N. Dash. The »bidding war« ended at USD 30,000.00 (€ 27,287.61), 50% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by N. Dash; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Healer sold at auction in July 2014 with the realized price of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 31,532.86).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2015 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von N. Dash zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 27.287,61) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von N. Dash; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Healer im Juli 2014 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 31.532,86).
