Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Groundings (7) by N. Dash was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in London in April 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 10,386.17) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by N. Dash - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Healer, which sold at auction in July 2014 for GBP 25,000.00 (€ 31,532.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Groundings (7) von N. Dash wurde im April 2016 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 10.386,17) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von N. Dash mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Healer beobachtet, die im Juli 2014 für GBP 25.000,00 (€ 31.532,86) versteigert wurde.
