Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (TG2) by N. Dash was auctioned at Christies in New York in February 2020. The price achieved of USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,503.40) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by N. Dash - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Healer, which sold at auction in July 2014 for GBP 25,000.00 (€ 31,532.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (TG2) von N. Dash kam im Februar 2020 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 8.503,40) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von N. Dash mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Healer beobachtet, die im Juli 2014 für GBP 25.000,00 (€ 31.532,86) versteigert wurde.
