Auction result misses estimated price range
When this work without title by N. Dash was auctioned at Phillips in London in April 2015, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 3,250.00 (€ 4,463.00). Admittedly, works by N. Dash have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Healer in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 31,532.86).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als diese Arbeit ohne Titel von N. Dash im April 2015 bei Phillips in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 3.250,00 (€ 4.463,00) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von N. Dash auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Healer im Juli 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 31.532,86).
