Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by N. Dash could be acquired at Christies in New York in March 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the FIRST OPEN | Post-War and Contemporary Art auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,584.72) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by N. Dash have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Healer in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 31,532.86).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von N. Dash konnte im März 2016 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion FIRST OPEN | Post-War and Contemporary Art wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.584,72) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von N. Dash auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Healer im Juli 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 31.532,86).
